Company History
As president of Channel Products Inc., I would like to thank
you for your interest in our company. Our company was formed
in 1972 by Don Berlincourt and Don Markeson. Mr. Berlincourt has authored
120 technical articles, is the holder of 45 U.S. patents, and
is world renown in the field of piezoelectric ceramics. Mr.
Markeson is responsible for our MARK model name. Another significant
contributor to our success is Carmen Germano, who is well known
(and widely published) in the technical area of piezoelectric
transducers. Carmen was our Chief Engineer, and remains on
active consulting staff to Channel in his retirement.
Channel Products is headquartered in Chesterland, Ohio about
20 miles east of Cleveland, and has a manufacturing facility
in Jefferson, Ohio. These two facilities produce a combined
9 million ignitors and ignition controls and 12 million electrode
and sensor assemblies per year.
Channel Products, Inc. is a leading design and manufacturing
company that supplies electronic and piezoceramic ignitors,
gas ignition safety controls, electrodes and sensor assemblies,
wire assemblies, and accessories to the gas appliance industry
worldwide. Additional products include piezoelectric ceramic
materials, piezoelectric transducers, nebulizers, sensors,
filters and resonators.
A custom product is our specialty! We have a fully staffed
design-engineering group that is capable of developing a product
to meet your specific needs. We provide custom application
work, modifying our family of "platform" control products to
go on your appliance for the most cost-effective and shortest
time-to-market solution.
Channel Products Inc. has a sales office in Zhongshan in the
province of Guangdong, which is staffed by our bi-lingual Asian
sales representative Mr. Kerry Hu. We at C.P.I enjoy a close
working relationship with our U.S. customers currently conducting
business in China and their Chinese suppliers as well.
Our experience in the electronic, piezoelectric ceramic and
plastic fields has positioned us to meet your needs through
our state of the art manufacturing capabilities and established
relationships with our Chinese suppliers. We look forward to
